Thats exactly why I prune mine down to just stems. The aphids aren't a problem when they have no food source. Also, when the plants are merely stems and re-potted into small pots, its easy to run the plants under the kitchen tap to wash any aphids off.
Sorry, but by the time I got off work today the post office was closed. I'll send it tomorrow, but you might not see it until Tuesday.
Sorry to keep you in suspense but I gotta make some money to pay for my pepper obsession. I post the tracking number as soon as I send it.
Edit: Must be the...
I have received the train! I grabbed ~60 seeds and threw ~200 in so it definitely is growing! I had to upsize the envelope to 18"x 11' to hold it all in.
There are ALOT of seeds in here, if anyone was planning on buying seeds this fall I would hold off until they receive the package.
Its...
Plant 1 looks similar to my mysterious brown pepper http://thehotpepper....y-brown-pepper/
I'm guessing brown 7 pot or some cross thereof.
plant 2 looks like a red 7 pot to me
PS thx for those seeds, they arrived today safe and sound!
This is a possibility, had planted some chocolate scotch bonnets but I thought all the seedlings died. Are your pods bumpy like mine? I've never seen bumpiness like this on anything but 7pots.
I've got 3 types of scotch bonnets growing and they all have smooth pods

If only I could hide the credit card bill from the wife I'd be all over this.
That is a sweet package you put together there Chris, Congrats to whoever wins.

I like to watch this as I process sausage
I'm growing the Dorset naga actually and I love it. The plant has been giving ripe peppers since may and it's producing huge numbers of pods, definitely a keeper in my cold climate
The first pod I tried I thought may have been underripe, so i let the second get soft and still had chemical...
Taste is definitely subjective, but there were posts about the butch T having a harsh acidic taste around for a while and then they just stopped. It took me 2 seasons to get fruit on my plants, so I was hoping all the while that my plants tasted good. As for fruity superhots, the red brain...
Thanks for the insight.
I don't want to bother trying these again if the harsh taste is prevalent in the strain, as you imply it is. it's pretty hard to get them to produce where I live. I loved the challenge of growing them though, and the plant looks super badass too, just no bueno on the...
