what does everyone use to control ants? I don't have mounds but I have ants going everywhere on our acre. we have very sandy soil and it is on a hill side. thanks

I WENT TO A NURSERY AND BOUGHT SOME USED 3 GAL POTS FOR 25 CENTS EACH!! You might try there!! or get those free 5 gal bucket, drill some drain holes and go for it.

:>) thank you for your kindness . I will continue with what I have this year because now I have them in good soil. 50/50 cotton burr compost and sifted top soil, so hopefully they are on the way to producing :>) they were in walmart /expert mix I think it was called and they were root bound...

I had 16, 100 watt cfl 24-7 there is no way I would throw them out when I have that invested already. I am going to go with the magnesium and calcium. thanks everyone

I am sure you are right but it just wasn't possible when it was snow on the ground and it was in an open shop!! next year I will have an enclosed area for them in the winter!

are you watering just the soil or watering the whole plant?

Ok thanks I was wondering if they were just late!! I kept the temp down around 70 through the winter in the grow area so I figured I stunted them as well!
