they are hard to get rid of and keep them gone! I have to treat about every 2 weeks on one plant! I am using enema oil mixed with dawn, it kills them and the plant looks great for 2 weeks then they are back! If someone knows the all out cure please clue me in!!

I kept 2 brim in my water barrel. I fed them dry dogwood they actually grew larger eating that stuff, on a sidetone though you have to have good aeration for the fish. you kill 2 birds with 1 stone. feed fish then fish feed plants.

I heard that if you freeze them and they have just a little moisture in them they will crack, so be sure they have been air dried!!

well you can get manure at home depot but will not be hot. I DON'T KNOW THIS FOR SURE BUT IT WOULD SEEM TO ME THAT IF YOU REALLY PUT THE TIME RELEASE FERT (13-13-13) it would aid in making it hot. maybe someone else out there has done this? just a thought!!

there are 2 things that are important first is size 3ft deep by 3 foot wide is the minimum, next is you have greens added for nytrogen (grass,garden waste) and browns(leaves) to help in decomposing. but you need to add manure. Make sure you put everything in layers keeping the last layer...

I am no xpert at all but plan to keep a compost pile of my own that will be kept hot with organic material so at the end of the growing season when I PULL UP THE PLANTS I will add hot compost to the soil there by killing the would be preditors

I have this same problem on one plant so I separated it from the other 57 and have been using neem with dawn and the war is still on!! I have been slowly increasing the Neem strength till either they are the plant is dead!
