    The Italians I had last year put out a similar number to the Greeks I still have. So YES, you should get a lot of peppers. And if you pick them all they will be back with a vengence within the week.

    They give a you a good sting - hotter than a cayenne but not as hot as my (still green) tabascos fresh off the bush. I've been using them in fresh salsa for an added bite ... and I'm drying some but I haven't done the grinding yet to use them for anything.

I always go check the produce section when I go somewhere new ... just in case I find a score. There are usually bell, banana, jalapenos, serranos, orange habs in season some places and...

    Yeah, on the one hand the hybridizing thing sounds fun and cool but OTOH it makes finding pure specimens and seed a lot more difficult.
