I transplant up when the second set of true leaves are forming. From your pics, you may have another week before they are ready. You can also wait a bit longer, like when the second set is nearly full size. Hope that helps! jacob

That looks normal to me. All my batches did the same. Just the water seperating out and taking some colors from the mash. You have some good bubbling going on and should be ready in no time. jacob

If you are getting bubbles you might be ok with the dark liquid. When my mash was finished the liquid was dark and all the solids had settled on the bottom. I have a pic of it in my thread. Also could be the colors from the ingredients blending. Any way for a pic so we can see what you are...

Hey Kevin, you could try to cut it back severely on top and roots similar to how they do the bonchis. That will reduce the space needed then use a little portable light with the CFL bulb in it for the winter. That is such a beautiful plant to let die without a single flower. jacob

yeah, a scorp that looks like a hab isn't too interesting to photograph. I think I got stingers on maybe 80% of my scorpions this year, rest had a more hab shape but taste and heat were all scorpion. jacob

I add about 1 tbsp, which is about 15ml I believe. Less will probably still work, just take a little longer to start working. jacob
