Regarding the pinching off of buds...

I find it easiest using a pair of tweezers to get in there and pull off the buds! That way there is less chance of damaging any new growth growing next to the buds.

    Pinchin' buds

As Blister stated, its a personal preference. I pinch off buds as soon as I am able to get to them without damaging the new growth popping up around them. From what it looks like in your picture, you should be able to get to them with a pair of tweezers! Good luck, hope this has helped!

Racing fans "limited" to 24 beers a day

I agree that Fosters is totally horrible! Do many Aussies like Crown Lager? I used to work in a supermarket and they were selling Crown lager which was past its used by date (but still ok to drink) for half the usual price. Need tips! Sucking? Tipping?

No worries mate! Manipulating the growth of plants by removing certain parts at certain points is something that interests me a lot, so I look forward to seeing the results of your experimentation!

    Need tips! Sucking? Tipping?

I am by no means an expert on this subject but I thought I might share some pics. This is a Scotch Bonnet plant I have growing. About a month ago I pinched out the main growing tip and I have been amazed at how bushy it has become and how pinching has encouraged the plant to split three ways in...
