Yea, Being new to growing all I had was a strain of Cayenne, Very thin walls. Next year, I will be widening my selection. That is the reason behind getting the dehydrator. As far as the ristra goes, i live in a very humid environment & I may try hanging them up in the house.. But not sure how...

Thank you all... yes, lesson learned. As far as buying a dehydrator... I gonna get whatever I can find. No credit card & don't trust Paypal. At a later date I will pick something else up.. Even if that means getting one of those pre-paid credit cards to do it. They turned out pretty torched...

ahh ok.. I had taken the seeds from a pepper that was half way ripe & looked like a critter got to it... ok i will use one that will be ripe in a couple more days, The already ripe ones are in the fridge & freezer (no good I guess). Thank you
