hmm.. well it looks like for now i am going to be trying out Serrano next season. (as well as Fresno if I can find it - I don't have a credit card so it makes buying online difficult)
I don't want to go over my head with to many plants, due to i am new to growing. But thank you all.
My mind...
Looked into the Fresno.. not enough heat (only 50% of a Jalapeño)..
Also really looking at the Serrano.. however they say its hard to dry (not that I care really) But being 4 1/2 times that of a Jalapeño, is right on key.
(I am planning on growing Tabasco as well but too hot for this post...
For next season I am looking for something different.
I am looking for something a bit hotter than a Jalapeño but still has a flavorful taste.
I love peppers in general, but prefer the heat between a Jalapeño & Cayenne. I had thought of the Hungarian Death.. but have since found out it is...
hmmm... ty for the input..
Going to do a bit of research. The peppers are still a few days off, maybe a week.. Maturing slower than I thought they would.
Looking for a recipe for a BBQ sauce that is Cayenne based :hell:
at the moment all i grow is Cayenne and they are almost ready for harvest. I want to make a BBQ sauce but have no idea even where to start. lol
Any help or links will be gratefully appreciated.
Holy hell batman... thats quite a harvest already.
Just curious.. does the Hungarian Death go by a different name? Have seen something like that before... But the guy said it was something different.
Also, what heat level are we talkin ;)
The manager said that more than likely it was Frog eye leaf spot.. But may also be some other bacterial infection (Can't remember the name of it).
It poured a bit earlier so I went out and checked it.. I lost a baby or 2 but the rest are doing fine. Weeeee!!!
Thank you all for your help.. I...
I am amazed... got up early this morning.. Aprox 7am. Gave the anti-fungal/anti-bacterial & gave it an hour of water trickling.
Wow, what a difference already... it is now 4:53pm. and the plant looks peppier than ever.. some of the leaves have reverted back to a deep green color and seems much...
way ahead of ya on that one...
Bagged & tagged last night.. A couple of them. & washed my hands before & after handling them.
Got me some organic anti-fungal/anti-bacterial stuff that the manager suggested... it wont fix the damage but will stop it from spreading. :)
:lol::lol:
good point... will talk with the management & try to get there as soon as I can.
Thank you.

btw, if anyone thinks it may be something else plz speak up. :onfire:
Now.. the only thing I have done is I transplanted from a pot into the ground... If it is just a feeding issue, What do I do/use to help it?
No bugs sited
Thank you for any help.
