    I Got Pepper Scammed!

Looks to be some sort of habanero. Cant really tell until they are ripe. Judging by the shape it could be a carib red?? It seems everyone who gets scammed thinking they are getting bhuts get carib reds. As Alphaeon said..if they are carib reds they are a very nice variety

sun When do I move to sunlight

Time to get them into the light. For me heat is just as important. I like to keep my seedlings at 73f to 77f for faster growth in my experience. Had my seedlings at 68f for a while and it was a snailspace. Hope that helps.

Best choices for growing in Florida

Peppermania is a very good seed supplier. As others said you can grow anything in your climate. You might want to try datil which is native to Florida... they were brought over from the minorcans to St Augustine about 225 years ago i believe?

    Mill's 2011

Hey Mill, Looking good man. Sorry to hear about the fungus gnats. Had the same problem two years ago and there was hundreds on those yellow sticky traps too. I put hortoculture sand on the top of the dirt and it seemed to help alot. Like the bonzai too. What type of plant did you use for it?

Your reaction to the hottest thing you have ever eaten?

I think it had to be the 7 pot possible choc bhut cross Ballzworth grew last year which we called the madballz 7. The pain was so intense for a good 15 minutes and then had the shivers for about 10 minutes after that. Ballzworth and i must have gulped down a litre of milk each. I was more...

    Are Fatalli's slow starters?

Have to agree that they can be slow sometimes. As Franz said. They take off quite nicely and will give you a bountiful harvest of hot tasty pods Good luck!!

seeds Butch T won't germinate funny how everybody wants them

+1. Ive tried both methods and havent seen much difference but dont like the soil too wet either way. Heat and a good loose germination soil is the key for me.

    Miscula-mission impossible (italy)

Everything your doing is good Miscula. Not sure why only annums are coming up after all that time. Maybe try a different method to germinate them. Like a seed propagator with a heat mat. Works for me

    Cappy's Capsicum 2011

    Root Bound Pots

I never disturb the root ball before transplanting in fear of plant shock. I make sure the soil is wet in the current pot then flip it over to pop it out of the old container and then transplant it into the larger pot or into the garden. I find this way there is hardly any transplant shock. The...

    Is this a healthy pepper?

As some members previously said....It would be a good time to pot up. Roots tend to grow down so adding soil to the top wont help much.

    pics Another Potential Bhut Failure

:welcome: From Ontario. Bhuts seem very sensitive to fertilizer in my experience. They need very little to start off with. Otherwise your plant is doing well.. Good luck!!
