Whenever I go to a restaurant and order a dish extra hot, it never is. The only way to get a dish served spicy enough is to make a specific point about it to the waiter then they stand there when it gets served waiting for me to keel over dead.
Does anyone else have this problem? I even ordered...

Sounds like an interesting shake. Recently I ate a birds eye fresh from my garden then had mint chewing gum a few minutes later. It was great. Peppermint with extra pepper kick!
The article you refer to makes some valid points Doug, but lacks any references which can be used as evidence so I would be interested to read any research this guy has actually published on the subject.
I did a little looking this morning and quite quickly found some related medical journal...
I wrote a response to this earlier today which took me about 15 mins that I lost thanks to the back key which is on the side of my gaming mouse. I had some references etc. Will repost later, I am typing this on my blacberry so it's out of the question atm.

Yeah joeyk, they did a final tour with jet. I couldn't justify 150 to see powderfinger. Besides I'm seeing metallica in sydney in nov and going to soundwave in brisbane in feb.
