Can't say I have tried it, but wouldn't that almost be like just having more plants close together?? I understand there will be only one root sytem, but in effect the plant would be more than one plant... Don't know I might be waaaaaaaay off the money here.
But I'd say just let them grow...
I personally would go bigger but thats just me. They will produce in the smaller pot but they won't grow as large as if they were in a 5 gallon pot.
Just my 2 cents.

Hey all,
I know I should know the answer to this but..... Most of my plants are a bit over a foot tall, and some are starting to pod up (heavily too), Should I let them go or should I pinch off? And how long should I pinch off for?
Cheers
Jas
I don't think that some form of herb as a ground cover will hurt the peppers too much at all mate. I can't imagine that they would steal nutrients to any great extent and they'd aid in keeping soil moisture.
Buuuuuuuuuut..... What happened to you're pics?
Hey thanks treeman, I'm planning on expanding my system as the need arises that's why I was wondering what sort of air support I'd need. But I'm quietly confident that 60 liters per minute will more than suffice for some time to come.
Sorry JayT, TimmyNewbie and they are home made sauces but I think he should definately look at going commercial.
Heres a link to his thread and should hopefully be direct to the pic.
If it doesn't take you directly it is post #45
