They do look very similar but the Ñora is slightly bigger and should be sweet tasting with a sour tang and almost no heat. Best way to find out for you is to have a little nibble and see if they are hot or not(can break a piece off and soak in hot water to re hydrate them if you don't...

They are almost certainly Ñora pepper from my region(Valencia). Spain exports tons of them each year, they are excellent in Paella and are also used in salsa romesco.

Hi Alex Did you try Peters method of soaking them in salpeter, any good? I have been getting good germination rates with my rocotos so far(80%) by just planting 2 seeds each directly into the jiffy plugs without pre soaking the seeds(I do use hot tap water to soak the jiffy plugs before...
