Haha. I'm not a Facebook user or anything, so many people other than immediate family were in the dark for a while! Would've let you guys know sooner but as soon as she was born my parents were in the car and heading to Boston!

Hopefully I'll have a bit more time to be around soon, as baby is a pretty good napper. Delivery was surprisingly easy and mom and baby (and dad!) are all doing really well. Lena was born August 29th at 5:54AM and weighed 6lb 12oz. 19.5 inches. She is wonderful.

I think anything that lives in a shell is best covered in butter and garlic when eaten. Makes sense that escargot would be like shellfish. I eat them bitches any chance I get. Love them.

Thanks! Yeah, I added a pretty decent dose of the Ghost Fire Hot Sauce you see in my POL (the one that's not SalsaLady's), so the pork was pretty spicy even before it got the peanut sauce (which was also hot). If I were not pregnant I would've added a bit more heat, but I can't go too wild...
