The Warthog is doing good, big leaves! closer look No flowers quite yet!

Hard to say, probably a little longer to ripen, but I can't be sure. I can say that once the cooler temps starting coming in the Primotaliis really started ripening quickly. I got a lot of them this year, will be making an All-Primotalii fermented hot sauce!

Thank you for your suggestions! I've had seedlings have a tough start like this but I really want to get this one going! Maybe it's true what they say the hotter the pepper the harder the germination.

Here is the one Warthog I got (helmet is stuck on but I'm keeping the seedling in a small, very moist domed container with breathe-holes.) The seed coats on these are crazy! Any tips for further guaranteeing the cotylodons can push the seed off? cheers

Well if you can't get pods or seeds to grow out the plant yourself, how do you really know they're the hottest?

Most of mine are going into hot sauce there were basically 3 different shapes to the pods this year, I had less of the 'Cowboy Boots' than last year, various long and gnarly, some were very gnarly etc. Fermenting in brine time

hey folks! So a couple of my pepper ferment batches did something kinda weird, it's started to smell like a brewery in these two jars. These two batches are mostly Sugar Rush Peach Stripe so I'm thinking the brine wasn't strong enough to slow the fermentation down given the high sugar content...

I've grown Bell peppers a bunch of times in cloth grow bags like I do my other pepper plants, they actually don't get that big. This year my Sugar Rush Peach Striped towered over them.

I grow a lot of Aji Lemon Drop as well and I get this on my pods also. Pretty sure it's just a harmless "sunburn" - same thing happens with my KS White Thai, but in that case it's purple colouring, not dark like OP's pic.

I was gonna send away for seeds from Matthew Arthur, but being in Canada, I foresee there being problems with shipping. So this Fall I will be working on a little pepper cross project of my own, I can tell you it will include 7 Pot Primo and 2 other superhots. :)

Looks like the Warthog (Wartryx X 7 Pot Primo?) is raising eyebrows now...couple people out there apparently offering seeds. I wonder if anyone here will try - I can't I don't think he will ship to Canada. Would love to try though.
