Just a question but don't pequins point straight up on the plants? It looks from your pics that these pods bend down. If someone more experienced with the different pequins could confirm my thoughts please do. I am thinking maybe a hybrid with another pepper. Either way very cool.

Yep those are def not peppers but most likely seeds that were in the planting mix the peppers came in.

Yes if you are in flower/fruit mode or stage and that is what you want then the 5k lights or even one of each in the fixtures. Another thing you may think about is if you can buy one of the 6 bulb high bay fixtures at home depot which by being 6 bulbs across will allow more light to the 2 plants...

+1 to that from my exp. I am told that it is better when used as a pepper for smoking meats as it blends in with the other flavors well though I have not tried that myself yet.
