I was hoping that the Steelers would do the right thing and fire him. Our defense is solid, and we could have signed Tebow or someone who's not groping girls in filthy bar bathrooms.

It's been nice watching the Steelers so far. That all stops when the dirtbag QB returns. I'm not going to watch them after that.

    Next years grow list

Brain Strain and Douglah Orange and Choccy Habs Bhuts Barrackpores Red Savs. My space is somewhat limited, so I'm only growing things I want to eat in large quantities either as a sauce or a salsa or powder. Smaller variety, but more of each. Getting back to basics next year.

    It a Real Grind

Fine looking powder. You give that away to your employees? If you were in Pittsburgh I'd soooo fill out an app haha.

You know what would be the most jarring thing for me moving to a new hemisphere? The changed constellations in the night sky.

seeds Isolating Pods For Pure Seed Stock

I'm trying isolating for the first time this year, I'm still ticked that my chocolate habs crossed with my red devil's tongue and gave me red hot but relatively tasteless pods. What I'm trying is this stuff from the fabric store, sorry but I don't know the name of it, all I can say is that it's...

    seeds or no seeds

Seeds are fine with me. I usually just chop my peppers in half after cleaning them, mostly so I can check them all for any funkiness inside, chuck em in a blender and let it go till smooth. Haven't really had to strain or anything, they get pulverized.

    68MUDSTUD's head start on 2011!

You're not going to the right parties. j/k I'm trying to save a few branches, but I too think it may be a bit early to start seeds for next year's season.

Tap water. Never had a problem with it.

    Too much heat!

I think I read that temperatures consistently over 90 degrees or something will kill pollen. You may want to look into getting some shade cloth for your plants.

    Sky's 2010 season.

I can feel the season beginning to wind down. Overall, I'd call this an adequate year. I grew some interesting plants and found a few pods that I'm totally in love with, but no matter how good things turned out, the specter of the crossbred chocolate habs darkens everything. I really wanted...

    Sky's 2010 season.

I'm trying something and I have no idea how well it's going to work. I've taken some clippings from a few plants and put them in old bottles with just water. The Momster does this all the time with regular plants, and sure enough they start to grow roots from the cut ends. These are plants...

    Sky's 2010 season.

Bit of an update and some rambling, but pepper porn first. Harvests are starting to get smaller. I'm fairly ok with that. I haven't been posting a lot of pics this season, but my harvests have been, for the amount of plants I have, huge. Especially the dreaded red devil's tongue X chocolate...
