anyway I dont actually make the vinegar but I use other vinegars and flavor them with other stuff.. one of my favorites is champagne vinegar and adding basil or peppers for a week or so till the flavor is...
It seems my winter hold over plants are producing again I picked 10 pods yesterday and about the same will be ready in a day or so..
They are bhuts , scorpians, birdseye and jal. the flowers are popping out all over...
it looks like a good bit before the heat comes on so I will make the most of...

jumbo jalapeno low heat but adds great flavor
and probably rocoto /manzano for the size and flavor..
my lime tree at our phx home did not produce for the last 7 yrs... i asked and water + acidic plant fertilizer worked this year .. it had blooms everywhere

i do tomato cages with what they call hog wire.. it has about 6 inch squares for the plants (tomato and chili) to rest on. i also cut out the bottom horizontal wire to allow me to embed the cage several inches into the ground ( it was windy in va)
