Was sent these peppers by a friend, what kind are they?

Yep, Carbonero's are kind of unmistakeable in shape.  There are a couple iterations of the Carbonero, there is a Peach and Orange.  The Orange is fruity and sweet with the Orange Hab portion of the cross coming out.  The Peach leans more toward the bhut flavor, both are insanely good though...

Was sent these peppers by a friend, what kind are they?

The two longish orange looking pods on the right could be "Carbonero's" a very popular cross from Tony Sherwood.  Its a great pepper, not a superhot but a great tasting pepper indeed.  I dont know the others, but that would be my guess on those two.

storage Freezing pods - should I deseed first?

I'll second and third cutting up your peppers to store in freezer.  If I throw whole pods in a gallon freezer bag I can maybe store 1.5lbs in a bag depending upon size.  Cutting them up, sometimes in 1/4ths I can store easily 3lbs in a gallon freezer bag.  Right now I have 3lbs of Butch-T's in...

Methods of deseeding and saving seeds

I have a cat so I end up with a ton of empty cat food cans, they are lined with food grade plastic.... I throw the seeds in a can and place on window seal fr a few days and they are completely dry.   There is something about the aluminum that evaporates moisture, I have filled a cat food...

    Black Goat'sWeed?

That is normal for Goats Weed, color progression is green, black, and final stage is red.  They will stay black for the majority of time though, I prefer them ripened to red but my friends like to eat them in the black stage.    cheers

    Chocolate habs

I ate a choc hab last week with my tacos, The taco truck I frequent for lunch was kind enough to throw on grill for about 60 secs to soften it up.  That pins and needles burn can be pretty extreme, it was a painful 3-5 minutes.  I wont say its Ghost heat but damn those stingy pins and needles...
