Would just like to share a few Pod shots from my season so far as it would seem all i have done is start problem threads.
Barrackpores:
Yellow 7's
Brainstrains
Moruga's
I also have Dorest Naga, Bengle Naga, T-Scorps and Red Savina's,
Sorry dude I forgot about uploading these...
Clearly an escaped plant but from where who knows.,. It's well established as a weed growing along the field edge.
This tomato plant is growing up from the cracks between the patio slabs. The only real source of nutrients I can think of is dog poo.
With 2 medium sized dogs the small patio receives absolutely loads of it!!
So good luck with your experiment, I think it will be a success :-)
I've had them keep well for over a month in the fridge...
For the long term though I bag box and freeze. Yes they turn mushy once defrosted so it's best to slice whilst still frozen... Once defrosted they don't last long at all so only defrost what you are about to cook with.
This year I am...
Thanks :-)
I've just given all the plants a nice dose, now to will wait and see how they respond.
On a side note researching this has just identified the problem that has dogged my blueberry shrubs.
I've just found this very informative web page and thought I would share with you folk on here.
It's regarding common nutrient deficiency's and also excess of common nutrients. I only wish I had found this a few weeks back...
Hi, just a quick question..
Other then spraying the leafs..
How do I go about applying Epsom salts to my plants? Can I simply mix with water and then water the plants, if so how much should I be mixing?
My watering can is 2L and I don't have scales so can we say approximately how many tea...
To small to be an aji, they where less then a cm in length.
I just found them, they are also known as Incan Red Drops, yes you where right, they are a baccatum
I was recently served a salad with these in them at work. Though not hot they still pack a lot of flavour and i wouldn't mind growing some myself.
I can't seem to find much information about the chili itself and how to acquire some seeds.
...
Trinidad Scorpions i got through the post last year. Pure nasty things, limited taste but instant extreme and long lasting burn. Can't really say they are hotter then a Moruga, or similar, but the pain is worse.
Seeing that you are in Norway, and you wont get the kind of growing season that most of the growers in the US do, i'd say leave it if you want any hope of a decent harvest.
Personally speaking i don't prune lower branches.
Its copper, they have been sprayed recently with Copper Oxychloride. The above are not a result of the copper spray as it was happening prior to the spray.
A few of my plants have leaf's that are dropping off.
Leafs are firm feeling
Mostly top half
From both sun & Shaded side of plants
Edges are curled up, though a few case of leaf curling under
Most have peachy/ pink veins surrounded by blotchy yellow areas, some are more pinky purple
On plants...
Ah that looks like woody nightshade :) A prolific and very common weed over here. We also get black nightshade, its of the same branch of the nightshade family.
Tobacco is grown over here as a garden plant, and like most nightshade plants its an expert escape artist :D I recently saw one...
Lol I don't think they need an excuse for flower drop other then they're unpredictable.
2 brainstrains, seed where grown from the same pod. Both sowed at the same time together, and have spent there lives together growing in compost from the same bag, and next to each other in the same grow...
Days/ week of crap weather won't do them any favours. But the odd night down to 10-11C is okay.
60 F (15.5C) is my average summer night temperature - I leave them outside and they love it :-)
