    Combine those beers!

I recommend signing up for all your favorite booze e-mail or fan clubs. Makers Mark let me label a barrel. Glenmorangie gave me a taste of scotch that sells for $1500 a bottle. Dalmore fed me and got me drunk. Knob Creek fed me and got me drunk twice. Johnny Walker has taken me to tastings 4...

    test kitchen....need some advice

please post how this works out. I think the sausage might add a sheen of floating fat on top if cooked in the chili. I like the idea of the meat as an aromatic addition. I think lamb might add some serious savory goodness. a quick google of italian sauage soup recipes...the first few all...

    business LLC vs. Sub-chapter S

Restructuring is tedious. If it does come time to change, form the new company seperatly and sell your old company to yourself. I'd say start will an LLC unless you have outside investments with ownership interests. If it's uncle larry floating you a couple grand don't worry. If it's Neveda...

preservation Dehydration, it's what I need

I have a 9 tray excalibur. I bought that brand because my father has had an excaliber for about 20 years. I recommend it. I have had friends melt ronco and mr.coffee brands trying to make jerky and would say stay away from them.

ask the guys at your favorite restaurant who the produce vendor is. chances are in LA that it's US Food. you'll have to have a business adress for them to deliver. El Guapo is a spice vendor in LA that does a lot of dried peppers. Their competition is Mondando or something like that. El...

    chipotle hit on first try

I had a bad October. One of my friends who helped me through it really likes Tobasco Chipotle. I've always thought I could do better and have told him that some time I would start a sauce for him. Well tonight was the night. I expected at least 2 or 3 incarnations before it met my standards...

hot-sauce Goya's BOTANITA Snack Hot Sauce

Goya is the nabisco of Mexico. They make everything. My mexican friends will use stuff like that like we might use ketchup. It also gets used as a basteing liquid and a crock pot liquid. At a buck and a quarter it's cheap enough for family pulled pork day.
