I couldn't find who made this cross in my notes. Come on now, whom among you is responsible?  I received the seeds in trade last year and grew two plants. Neither were very prolific, but i did finally get a few cool looking pods. They will definitely get grown again next year.

Agreed. A small space heater with a thermostat on the lowest setting should serve just fine. It should only kick on during the wee hours. I have mine on a small, footstool to keep it off the ground and it works well with outside night temps into the low 20s.   Something like this.

I'm a Yaki Brown new fan. As said, the plant is very pretty - mostly purple with green hints. The plants are putting out pods like crazy. They have medium heat (maybe Fatalii level) - just barely snackable off the vine for me. Not too floral, with a slightly sweet, crunchy texture. I'm drying...

Here's a few of mine. I just moved a plant with a lot of green pods into the greenhouse ... hoping for more.  

Yep, these turned out great! They look like little cherry apples. They have fairly thick flesh and a nice, fruity medium heat. I will definitely grow these again.

I throw in another of my contenders. Here is a nasty Chocolate Bhutlah ... with oil dripping out from inside. I deseeded a bunch more yesterday, and should have used two layers of gloves!

If it's moveable, stick it in the garage or something similar. If not, take off a big branch with pod and bring it in. It should continue to ripen for a while. I've had some continue ripening for a few weeks before getting soft this way.
