Where Can I Find Pepper Mash?

LA pepper exchange has prices listed here - http://lapepperexchange.com/shopsite/unprocessed-pepper-mash.html They seem to be able to scale up in quantity well. In fact, they'll sell you entire shipping containers of pepper mash apparently.

fermenting Where do you source your pepper mash?

Thanks for the head's up! I'll drop LAPX a line and see what they have. Wild Pepper seems a bit pricey. 7 oz. for $15? Yipes.

hot-sauce Yahualica hot sauce! Where can I buy this in USA?

Here's a closer-up of the label. This is the only thing written on the bottle. The bottle's plastic btw, feels very very thin. Almost like an Evian bottle. And they're not air-sealed either. You can unscrew the cap, there's no seal over the opening. Very sketchy packaging, and very tasty...

    Aeroponic cultivation

You know, I hadn't really NOT considered letting the roots dangle into the the water basin. I kinda figured that was an inevitability with a fixed-size aero chamber using a basin of water with floating nebulizers. I hadn't considered heat issues though, and am under the assumption nebulizers...

hot-sauce Yahualica hot sauce! Where can I buy this in USA?

Oh cool! Thanks for the head's up! Yeah, I know Yahualica's a city, my mother grew up not too far from there. This particular variety is particularly tasty I think, but I can't seem to find it anywhere in the US. At least not where I live.

    Aeroponic cultivation

Awesome, awesome, awesome! Okay, now I KNOW I joined the right community. This place rocks. SO essentially I need a system that will sort of expand along with the plants. Hmm, that sounds like high pressure aeroponics. I'm totally not opposed to tackling large scale projects (hell, I work...

fermenting Where do you source your pepper mash?

Comexa does many different kinds of mash in HUMONGOUS bulk, but I'm not quite there yet. I'm thinking something like a few small buckets of various types to get my recipes right before I scale up. Anyone sell pepper mash for reasonable prices in smaller quantities?

hot-sauce Yahualica hot sauce! Where can I buy this in USA?

I just had some relatives return from Mexico. I only had two requests - salsa Yahualica and Tequila Almendrado de Orendain (Los Dos Gordos). The hot sauce is impossible to find state-side - I've been looking for an importer for years. I found a cached picture of it on the web ONCE, on the page...

    Aeroponic cultivation

I'm going to put together a DIY aeroponic cultivation setup soon using a closed system with nebulizers and a liquid nutrient mix. Perhaps a compost tea? At any rate, I'm going to use it to grow Chinense variety peppers indoors, but I'm unsure of how to best germinate the seeds in preps for...

Danny Cash will sell you mash. It's not advertised on their site, but send them an email. http://www.dannycash.com/danny_cash_contact_us.htm I've bought from them before and they were super helpful.

    Hello from -Pablo-

I'm a hobbyist hot sauce maker right now trying to do and learn as much as I can. I have a blog where I write about my findings (My Hot Sauce blog), and am very active on Google Plus.
