Word of warning. Habanero's seem to take a very long time to ripen after the pods reach full size. Its quite maddening. The first of my Caribbean Red pods reached full size about 4 weeks ago and it just began to ripen a couple days ago. Its a dark orange color now so still have a day or two to...

Are you doing anything to pollinate the flowers? If you have no air movement and no insects and you dont hand pollinate you will get nothing.

3 different stages of same pepper. These are Naga Morich so should be quite similar in development to the Bhut. As you can see they are quite a bit lighter initially and get darker as they mature... Total span of time here is 4 weeks. Dates of each pic in order are: 7-12-2008 7-24-2008...
