Bhut Jolokias light green fruit normal?

Plant foliage is nice dark green and healthy as can be. Over 30 pods in different stages of development.

All of the fruit are of a light or pale green color.Will they get darker as they ripen ?

Just want to be sure the plants aren't lacking anything.

Pics would help, but anyway... I have seen a lot of rather light green unripe and young Bhuts. Sounds okay to me!

3 different stages of same pepper. These are Naga Morich so should be quite similar in development
to the Bhut.

As you can see they are quite a bit lighter initially and get darker as they mature...

Total span of time here is 4 weeks. Dates of each pic in order are:
7-12-2008
7-24-2008
8-8-2008

In the first image its the upper right pod, 2nd image its the one to the right of the measure,
and its the ripe pod in the final.

Also you can see in the final image alone a light green new pod and a dark green older pod as
well as a ripe pod.

On a completely irrelevant note, the dark green pod immediately behind the ripe pod
in the 3rd image looks like an old troll/man to me :)

Thank you for helping with my question. Those pods you have growing are beautiful, gives me something to aim for. The pics are great also.What type of camera are you using there?

Also, do you feed them as they ripen? I haven't given mine any food in about four weeks.

The camera isnt anything special. Takes a pretty decent photo.
Its a "Canon PowerShot A570 IS" About $250.00 on Amazon right now...

I give my plants a shot of liquid seaweed once a week, and I also use a balanced time release fertilizer every 3 months.
I have done this from day 1 and have not made any changes to this regimen with regard to growing, flowering, or fruiting.
