if they produce, they look fine to me.  The casing means almost nothing.  I attempt to not start with casings that are already looking black and nasty, but those have hooked, they are viable.   That top left one may not produce anything, but I wouldnt toss either of the two right ones.

  Ive got 4 reapers in 7 gallon containers(4 containers) in my 3x5 grow tent with a 900w LED.  They have taken over and my seedlings in solo cups along the front wall are starting to get a bit shaded.   Are you saying you have 9 plants in a single 7 gallon pot?  And 10 in a single 2 gallon pot?

I vote for do nothing except get a little air flow(which sounds like you have).  If you start jacking with it, you will more than likely kill it.  As was said these things are pretty hardy until you start messing with them and thats when they die.  Ive moved a few from my seed starter into solo...

  Ive got remnants of 2 reapers in ziplock bags in my freezer, but they were young reapers and pretty small and not all that hot IMO.  Ill wait for these fresh ones and throw in some other peppers from the store.

I bought a kit similar to that last year, but not as big as I was only doing 4 potted plants.  It worked ok, just seemed like it would get pricey for doing a larger area.  My beds are separate so I would basically have to have 4 separate systems.  I can build a manifold that will feed all 4 beds...

i drill 5 holes, 4 in the "rim" and once in the center.  Seems to work well.
