health What's wrong with my choc bhutlah leaves?

Aye. It's just damage from not being sufficiently hardened off. That process can be tedious :)

    pests Aphid after damage?

They're little vampires. They suck the lifeforce out of the leaves, and the damage is often seen long after they vanish back into the abyss from whence they came.

water California Growers n Water ?

Shade cloth + mulch + drip = not much water consumption for me.

    5ga bucket fertilization

Fresh grower mix, manure, and weekly fertilization and you're still thinking they need more general fert? Personally I think you're good on that front, man. After all you said they're looking good! Maybe some bone meal and epsom salt. The bone meal will be more 'time-release' and the epsom...

    Pepper damage!

Better to have a little foliage damage like that than aphidocalypse. Go with peoples suggestions here but don't fret too much. Not too long from now they will be putting out new growth faster than those buggers will munch .02

Anyone who has seeds available for sale please message me.

While many are out of stock you can still get plenty from Pepper Lover (she usually throws in extra goodies too!)   Semillas.de is another great vendor with a huge selection and very affordable pricing.   Shipping costs are cheap for both.

    Which Pepper in Which Pot?

Put the pube in the smaller one and overwinter it. In my limited experience you'll need 2nd year to get good production from the pubes. At that point transfer to bigger as they will get large. All the ones you mentioned I *think are not short compact varieties so just give them as big as you...

    A (hopefully) simple question ...

Those are gonna be white blooms soon enough. You have the right mindset with the short growing season. Leave them be for that reason I'd say. I would transfer right now since you're saying you'll be able to move those buckets around still. If you need to continue hardening them off then it...

    Grow Box Build

There is warm and there is inferno :) Native temps for many are more ideally like 85-90 F. My summers are a brutally consistent 100+ at peak. Record here is 115F.     I'm concerned about the black as well. Otherwise, I think it's a solid idea.

Farmers Markets, road side stands and peppers

People know their tolerance isn't close to a chiliheads. So superhots are novelty and laughs. Those being ghost pepper, scorpion, and carolina reaper (ones they know of).   I think people are definitely very interested in more exotic peppers though. They're just put off by too high of heat...

New Pepper Plants - Not super happy?

They look alright. I would repot them all in bigger pots now with that potting mix you mentioned. Set them up on drip again :) Then let the warm weather take care of things. I'm not familiar with Fox Farms Grow Big, but I wouldn't get too carried away with its use. Looking now the directions for...

    Replanting

Seed tray --> solo cup --> final home in 6 gallon bucket or raised bed is how I scale up. If I buy a plant it goes straight to bucket or bed. If I run out of space/buckets I will put them in 1 gallon milk jugs (assuming the live plant is in a smaller container).

    Peppers going missing???

Putting pants in the backyard isn't a sufficient deterrent. You have to use the entire scarecrow.

    Pepperlover ( Judy)

There are definitely a bunch of varieties i'm interested in on her site that has been out of stock for a long while now. I subscribed for notifications but haven't received any yet. This doesn't bother me. Just been curious. I think she's a great vendor. I've been happy every time i've ordered...

chinense The best tasting non-hot C.chinense ever - The Aji jobito

^ So I suppose the moral of the story is to harvest them when they are yellow-orange. Good to know! :)   Those are good ones. Of all the baccatums I grew last year the only one I liked more than those two was Aji Amarillo.

    Could Somebody Take a Look?

If those are like 10 gallon pots then I wouldn't hesitate to grow 2 peppers in them.    I think the issue is over-fertilizing as well. With all the mixtures you described they probably had enough as is. I wouldn't worry too much about hitting them again until they are a good bit larger. Given...

I've got 6 in separate 1 gallons labeled "mystery peppers" because I have no damn idea what they are lol

    chinense White Habanero

I'm growing a Giant White Habanero (which is apparently not a habanero?) and last season I grew the white bullet habs. So yeah, more info on this specific white hab variety is called for.
