Is there a way for the home grower to approximately measure scoville units of his produce..?   Or is there a way to at least make a comparison measurement between different strains of peppers..?   Without a full lab of course.

I'd do some spicy Pequin rabbit stew. A good fat rabbit or 2 this time of year taste absolutely delicious... And to boot, Rabbit meat, an excellent balance of fatty acids (rabbit is richer in omega 3 than chicken* or pork.

My healthy reaper with tons of flowers was not setting fruit, an old time farmer/neighbor told me here in humid sFL during the very humid rainy months, pollen clumps from the extreme humidity and does not transfer well from the stamen. Not sure if thats true or not, but sounded right coming out...

1 of my reapers is doing the same. Loads of flowers for at least a month and a half. But won't set fruit...   Not sure if anthers are not opening, how do you check..?

Is a plant healthy when it has more pods than leafs,, on a Butch T yellow scorpion...?   Pretty much all flowers are gone with no new buds forming. Branches are heavy with big fat scorpion pods everywhere.   I think its pods are hotter than my reapers. Scorching painful blinding slow long...

Just my opinion, but the translucent areas look like sun scald/burn to me. I've had the exact same on my young SRP plants that were not hardened off enough. Baccatum don't like mid day FL summer sun.  The black round dots, not to sure if its an advanced stage of burn or some opportunistic pest...

  Was never specified what color it was suppose to be..? So guess I'm asking what is the color progression when it goes from green to yellow to ...? or do reds turn from green to red with no in between yellow..?
