A Ridiculously Improvised DWC Hydro Setup. (Now a grow log!)

Where is the blooming, guys? It's just a couple of bud rudiments and it'll take'em a couple of weeks (maybe more) to start bloomin'.

breeding A couple of C.chinense hybrids

Another one taste test. I took first 4 pods of Pimenta Biquinho X Pink Habanero hybrid, the fruits were ripe or half ripe. These hybrid pods are little hotter than Rocotillo X Pimenta Biquinho ones. Moderate chinense aroma. Crunchy, quite juicy but not so juicy like Rocotillo X Pimenta...

breeding A couple of C.chinense hybrids

Yesterday was a taste test day. There were 7 fruits of the Rocotillo X Pimenta Biquinho hybrid. Some fruits were red i.e. fully ripe & some fruits were orange. All of them were crunchy & juicy. The red pods had quite strong chinense aroma. It was something like apricot flavour too. The heat...

breeding A couple of C.chinense hybrids

The first ripe fruit at one of my hybrids: It took it 100 days to become ripe. Not bad for C. chinense pepper, isn't it?

breeding A couple of C.chinense hybrids

There are two different Biquinho/Chupetinha cultivars with very high and very low (or no heat att all in my case) heat level. Pimenta Biquinho is a very popular cultivar in Brasil (especially Belo Horizonte state) nowadays. As far as I know brasilians used to drink beer with Pimenta Biquinho's...

breeding A couple of C.chinense hybrids

Are you sure that F2 hybrids will give so large yields? I've read that only 25% of F2 hybrids will look like F1 ones and other 75% will look like parent plants. I'm not a biologist so maybe I'm wrong. What do you think about it? Mabe I'm wrong and the real name of this cultivar is just Pimenta...

    Vegging und HPS

1 or 2 days under HPS and  you made such conclusions??? I don't think the HPS light is the cause in your case. Of course, HPS light is uncomfortable for our eyes, but peppers (& many other plants) like it. If you're satisfied with pepper growing results under CFL light so use it, but...

If you're right so why do my pepper plants growing under 250 W HPS look fine? I think POTAWIE is right when saying:

    Real chilehead?

According to some reports received from the Chinese Inet-presses, it became known that over the last few years in one of the bio-laboratories of a Chinese agro 第一 日 were conducted experiments on the implementation of parts of human DNA in the genes of some varieties of pepper. The true goal of...

A question about Roberto's Cuban Seasoning

Can you tell me their names? And what about white/yellow anthers of Roberto's Cuban Seasoning flower? As far as I know the most flowers of genuine C.chinense have blue anthers and only few of them have white/yellow ones such as Numex Suave Red, Amazon Chile Roma, Tobago Seasoning, i.e...
