    Shorerider's heavy haulage.

Fosters.... Australian for horse piss.  At least that is what the locals said when I went there.  I was told it is export only.  Drank a lot of Crown Lager and VBs though.

health Yellow Spots on Leaves- Not Mites

Are you watering when it is sunny outside? Kinda looks like little burn marks.  I'm new to growing as this is my first year, just trying to help brainstorm.

hydroponic Leaf Curling problem, Help with ID!*Hydroponic Peppers*

I'm fairly new, but the tiny white spots also on the leaves that shows where mites have sucked out the cholorphyl.  Looks like what I have researched about Broadmites also.  Good job nailing it, i think, TXCG =)

Update to the Glog..... Starting to lose track as they are all getting on track nicely.  But best plant first, then goofy helmet headed one, then smallest.  They got a little tip damage from one day in the sun, but all else seems fine.

Surprised those Leaf Hoppers let you get a hand that close to them, they are skiddish little buggers.  Do they hurt plants?  I know there are lots here and probably in TX also.

Update on plants.  I haven't been able to get them into much direct sunlight yet due to all the rains and Thunderstorms this week. They get maybe 1 hour of sunlight from about 10a-11a atm.  If this is our last week of Tstorms maybe I can get them out into more direct sun.  They seem to be doing...

    tutorial The Pest Guide

Not sure if this works or not, but find it curious that I have now heard it from 2 old farmers to prevent cutworms.  They said take some small, maybe 8 penny nails, non galvanized or coated, and just put 3-4 of them around the base of the plant in the ground.  They said cutworms will not bother...

Authentic Trinidad and Tobago hot sauce recipes

I would assume pimento pepper would be a pimento berry, which looks like a peppercorn.  In the states it is called an Allspice berry.

    pests attack of the Aphids

If you sprayed with that 70% Neem oil stuff they sell at most stores that is "clarified neem oil", it probably won't work from what I have heard.  "Clarified" means they removed the Azadiaractin from it that is the good stuff that gets rids of pests.  I have googled around some and seen many...

water Need Tips to make lots of Nutrient water for watering

Water is roughly 8lbs a gallon, so yes around 440 lbs to move a 55gal barrel.  I am very new to this and just reading through forums while at work tonight, however instead of dragging a 55g drum around full of water.  Could you just run pvc out to put in a faucet then set up a 55g drum, run...

    Abnormal leaves on seedlings!

Check out my Glog, it is a very short one compared to most.  Will see that out of my 3 plants, one of them was a helmet head also, but it is back on track after a little growth.  I have used no nutrients, just dirt/water and added a little myco at their first transplant which is highly recommend...

    Fiveohmike's 2016 Grow log

Is one of my big fears are the bugs.... guess will cope with them when they come.   I pray they are NOT some devastating type that destroys a plant in a day or 2

    Twiasp Glog

Think it is time to harden these off and get them going outside?  Are some of the smaller ones still too young?   The strongest plant still strongest.   The goofy plant.  Still not sure why some of the leaves stay curled on this plant.   The smallest plant, seems like just a stunted version of...

    Twiasp Glog

1 Month since start date.  Thinking of starting the best one with some hardening off to go outside soon, it is working on its 4th and 5th sets of true leaves at the moment.  This one will be planted in dirt. Other 2 that are lagging behind will be nutrient experiments efforts in double 5 gal...

Hot sauce label is finished, need feedback

I don't purchase super hot sauces and such from stores really, mainly due to a wall of gimmicks and flashy labels. I'm a human, not a fish, I don't need flashy things to make me bite.  I tend to agree with others on here,  I would rather see a minimal yet classy label rather than a bunch of...

    Careful with Spinosad

Never heard of this product, but a decent read.  Is what I have heard of Neem Oil.  Also heard that most mix it with some dawn to break the oil apart some and disperse it through water to spray evenly.   http://americanatural.com/products/insect-animal-controls-repellents/nimbiosys.html
