    What are you doing today?

Maybe too graphic but it may be an intestinal thing.  Eat something that gives you the squirts and it may clear up quicker than you expect.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKyoSS3bwjA   Sorry, I'm a plant growing newbie this year also, but this is what I thought of reading the posts =)

    It's ALIIIIIIIIIVE!!!

This is MoA Scotch Bonnet seed (only ones I'm growing) purchased from Juanitos this year.  They grow faster than I thought, that first hook I saw, by the time I went to work and came back, it was fully out of the dirt and just watching it shed the seed husk now.  Another one has popped also now...

    It's ALIIIIIIIIIVE!!!

phew, trying to be patient and not mess with my seedlings germinating.  I open the pods about every other day just to let some fresh air in.  They are sitting on a heating pad on low.  Happy to see this little guy popped out last night.  Hopefully the others are soon to follow =)

    Hey guys

Saw a guy on a video that mixed 100% Cold Pressed Neem oil with Azadirachtin in it, then mixed just enough Dawn dish soap til the neem oil sank off the top of the water, shook it well and used to spray plants with(think he used roughly 2 Tsp in a liter of water and just enough dawn to make the...

    My peppers

I am very new to peppers also.  Trying to grow my first ones this year, I bought some MoA Scotch Bonnet seeds from Juanitos.  Late last year I also bought a box of assorted peppers from Wicked Mike as he was suggested by some of the forum members.  He grows in Florida and has peppers year round...

    DIY Dry Chili Seasoning Blend

I would highly recommend, if you haven't tied it before, to cut some fresh fruits like pinapple, mango, melons, etc... and sprinkle fresh squeezed lime juice over them with a little drizzled honey and chili powder, and enjoy.  I forget what it is called but it is a popular desert/snack south of...

any suggestions on a sauce for french fries?

I either sprinkle with cajun seasoning right when they come out of the fryer. OR... make some queso... fry bacon, reserve bacon, then use grease to sautee peppers in (usually jalepeno's). Then fries, queso, peppers, bacon all back into the basket and nomnom out =)

    food Jalepeno vs. Fresno Pepper

I see these labeled in the grocery store often and are they actually different peppers or are they just selling unripe vs. ripe versions?  What is the flavour and heat difference between the two?  Is it worth justifying the cost difference of 1.19lb vs. 3.99lb?

    Alien implant?

Show xrays of it.  I am a radiographer and do CTs and diagnostic Xrays.  I may be able to identify it for you. You see a lot of odd stuff in people that they have no clue what it is lol.

    labels Salsa label suggestions needed

I like them off-kilter, however may change the colors so they don't look so generic.  Mild-green, medium-yellow, Hot-orange, scorcher-red........ or green, orange, red, flames looking scorcher.  /shrug Just my 2 cents.  When I see generic looking stickers on items it makes me think that maybe...

drying first time dehydrating and making powder

So with Yellow Scotch Bonnets, when I dry and grind them should I leave the seeds in or out for the best flavor.  Heat isn't really a factor if it alters the taste.  I am sorry, but not sure what they are classified as, ie Floral, or super strain, super hot, etc....

drying first time dehydrating and making powder

Does leaving the seeds in make the powder slightly bitter at all (change flavor)? I have seen a few posts that claim this is true but figured some of you guys who have made a lot of powder would be more experienced/trustworthy than random forums posts.
