I'm thinking of trying my hand in the hotsauce making realm and wanted to buy some pepper mash. I checked out Louisiana Pepper Exchange but no prices listed, awaiting return quote. They are near me so thats a huge plus, any other ideas? I want to start with a small qty at first. Thanks...

Very Nice Sauce! Not overwhelming, balanced and smooth just like it should be. Highly recommended.

Well where Im at in South Mississippi the only hot peppers you can buy at the supermarket are Serrano and Jalapeno, so if you want hot peppers you either grow them or find someone willing to sell/give you some. I don't think you would have a problem selling them at all.

Still waiting to eat it, I need to stare at it a little longer( :cool: , I picked more yesterday eve, I'll eat them first. They do have a nice smokey smell to them.. Wow.. smells like smoked meat or something. Today will be the day I consume one or whatever I can stand. Keep you posted.

+1 on too hot. BTW, I was told by a guy out a local farm that lack of pollination will cause flower abortion. He said plant some wildflowers by the peppers and you'll be suprised how much this helps.

Looks like chemical burn or spray burn.. Use any pesticides on or near it? Also, make sure it you don't water the leaves when watering it. Only the dirt at the base and around the plant.. The water on the leaves in the bright sun can burn spots on the leaves.

First looks like Bhut, 2nd Red Habanero & 3rd Immature Orange Habanero.. In my opinion I would have to say the 2nd and 3rd are not what you are expecting.
