Yes, it's very common here. Like mexican food in Southern US I guess. You find those restaurants all over the place, though they are being replaced with middle eastern food like shoarma, döner etc

No no, I live in Helmond the Netherlands at the moment (work). That's about a 30min drive from the German border. Of the ones mentioned above only Roti is considered street food... but it's a lot of crappy fast food. Though there are a lot of indonesian restaurants around here, usually combined...

Looking good!  I love those sweet peas (is that the correct word for those flat peas?) in stir fries. They also grow like crazy and actually improve your soil (they create nitrogen buds in your soil) if you can get your hands on it, plant some 'Carouby de Mausanne' sweet peas.. they are the best...

seeds Seedling are dying. Looks like a pest need help to fix or start over.

I'm afraid the odds are against him, but 95% seems to be very harsh. It surely wouldn't hurt to start some extra plants in another room, just to be on the safe side.

    soil Evaluate my soil mix

Perlite and vermiculite have different traits. With the coir I would opt for perlite over vermiculite due to the water management. I also wouldn't add Epson salt to the mix.. Just water with it instead. (If that wasn't your plan already).

Good soil doesn't need it.. But certainly doesn't hurt with b-grade potting soil or older quality soil.

seeds Seedling are dying. Looks like a pest need help to fix or start over.

Hi Capcom,   I understand, however the soil is the most likely cause of infection in the first place. Also, indoors male (i.e. winged) aphids also start to appear quite fast (compared to outside grows). In my experience eggs can hatch over months, so they don't all hatch when the conditions are...

No, peroxide will degrade rapidly. Especially when contaminated.

off-topic You know what really grinds my gears?!?

I hear you (and Salsa). I'm not skinny either, but that's because of well earned ribs, steak and pulled pork. I'm not obese or anything but it's going fast after I got a desk Job in civil life. Here those people get 1100 (net income) euro a month, a ~15% refund on there rent, don't have to pay...

seeds Seedling are dying. Looks like a pest need help to fix or start over.

It seems like a terrible infestation. With an infestation this bad I would get a big bucket of hand warm water, unpot your plant and submerge completely and vigioursly rins all the stuff of the leaves and roots (you should have clean white roots without yellowish grains or soil) As it's damn...

    On Cutlery ...

I have this one as the universal one. Ceramic coated and antibacterial grip. It's not a luxury one, just a quality knife.. Nothing fancy. Due to the angle of the pic the blade looks less wide than it is. The blade is only about 7" but I use it for everything. I also have sabatier knives (a set)...

    soil Potting Soil Problem

It's probably because it's overfertilized to last longer. Just flush it to lower the readily available nutes and fall back on the long term nutes that are in it. Or do what I do, mix it with some cutting/sowing soil to lighten the mix (or just use dirt).

    On Cutlery ...

It's a fashion thing really. Now the hype is around hard steel as well (so you can make it incredibally sharp) or damast/damascus. With the recent cooking show hype here in Europe the selection of semi pro knives just exploded. I love the japanese damast steel blades visually, but I really love...

Haha so relateable.. More alcohol related injuries than actual training related injuries. Edit: a pint is a lot when you have to drink it without breathing..

    American Sniper

I'm not in for the pacifist stuff, but I have to agree a lot of US military personel had a very strange view on war, to say the least. I don't really agree with that text because of the way it was written (they want to make a point and don't have an objective view) but do agree on the original...

    Lettuce Talk Greens

Most of them will do with windowsill sun just fine.. even facing north west or north east. With peppers stretched vegatative growth is a bad thing. With salad leaves vegatative growth is.. well.. salad.
