OhioGrown 2014, second time around, 4-6-14 update.

Well, 2 days later and I'm at about 45 sprouts now. I planted 2 seeds into each pellet to increase my chances at germination, so a few of them have 2 sprouts in them. Oh well, the smaller of the 2 will get removed before potting up, which should be within  a week or so, once the roots get a...

OhioGrown 2014, second time around, 4-6-14 update.

Alrighty, a week's gone by since I planted the seeds. I've got a few hooks, and a few others breaking the surface. I had a little mold, so I mixed a tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide with a cup of water, and sprayed down the pellets. Hopefully it works and I don't end up with any damping off...

OhioGrown 2014, second time around, 4-6-14 update.

well, it's another year, and I promise this year to add weekly updates until the end of the season. seeds Cut Ocean Forest for Seedlings

I used Happy Frog for all my seedlings last year after they sprouted out of their starter peat pellets. It was always good to them, and I even did some containers with it as well during the summer. I also didn't need to fertilize for a really long time. The nutrients in Happy Frog and Ocean...

    My apologies to Chocolate Habaneros.

From the heart;   Dear Chocolate Habs, I owe you a huge apology. When I started your seeds you were always going to be my back-up player, always my second best. You weren't going to be my hottest, growing next to my "trendy" Douglah's, and Moruga Blends. You weren't going to be awed as the...

favorite Favorite or most abundant 7 Pod?

cool. I think I remember seeing that in your glog. I wanted to grow some bigger peppers that have a lot of heat to them, and the 7 Pod family just seemed like the right choice. Judy, you gave me 2 free packs of them this year!! So, I'm definitely looking forward to them!
