MGOLD86's GLOG, of sorts. NEW Billy Boy Douglah Review!

oh I gotcha, that is good to know about the 15' limit! that would definitely not work for me at all. well I guess I will have to see if my friends dad has the T-tape, if not then I'll just have to order some myself. and yeah I forgot about the fact that I will be planting them at 2-3' apart, so...

    Ideal sun exposure

(reply to theghostpepperstore.com)- hmm, thats interesting about the leaf size, which makes sense, but if I remember my classes correctly, I'm pretty sure the size of the leaf is more based towards transpiration of water through the leaves, but it is the same thing, unless you want to water the...

MGOLD86's GLOG, of sorts. NEW Billy Boy Douglah Review!

Sounds like a plan dude! It is going to be 87 up here tomorrow, and I am loving it, but the temps are going to be dropping back down to around mid 60s with a low of low 40s for a little bit longer, so in a few more weeks, which is fine since I need to do the rows and get a bunch of manure in...

    vendor The Hippy Seed Company

mine were great this year, they were a little lower, especially the chocolate bhuts than some seeds bought from in the States, but I'm pretty sure the chocolate bhuts were just a super slow batch and some of them were eaten by fungus gnats in the mean time, and maybe just the temps in the plane...

Houston I may have a problem, well, sort of...

yeah, I've stopped using it for the most part, I got some Fox Farm Tiger bloom with a little Bonticare Cal-Mag mixed in so that it should be somewhere around 4-8-4 (tiger is 2-8-4, and Cal-Mag is 2-0-0), still having flower drop with my superhots, so I think there is still a good amount of N in...

    Smallest ornamental pepper plant?

I'm about an hour from the ocean, so I'm inland kind of, but not too much, lately the weather has been pretty spastic lol.. and yeah it is getting pretty crowed in there, even a few weeks later they are at least 5" taller than in that pic, but luckily they are staying pretty compact and growing...

MGOLD86's GLOG, of sorts. NEW Billy Boy Douglah Review!

yeah the roto tillers can be a pain, and they don't get deep unless you kind of go backwards with it, so you just kind of pull it back a little which moves a little bit of dirt back, then you go forward again and then rock backwards to get the 2nd layer tilled up.. it is a lot of work, but I...

Houston I may have a problem, well, sort of...

oh well in that case, it is most likely something else, I couldn't remember if the plant had gone outside at some point or something like that. But what are you using for fertilizer? and how often and all that. found this, http://forum.sensise...ts.asp?TID=6499 granted it's a different plant...

it kinda looks like sunburn, but not really, which is why I want to learn towards nutes being the problem.. but I haven't seen problems like this before so I don't know what it could actually be.. I'm guess some other people are in a similar boat for trying to figure out what it is.. but I guess...

    Smallest ornamental pepper plant?

PIC 1, that is a cool plant, and that is a lot of plants in the background lol and slash, I have been collecting a few of the seeds that I have now from the Bulgarian Carrots, and 2 different types of cherry peppers, I've just been sticking the seeds in a solo cup with a piece of paper towel...

    Smallest ornamental pepper plant?

yeah I move 4 of the middle plants out so I can get to them all when I water, they are really close but as long as they are growing until I get them outside I will be happy, and I moved things around after that photo, just switched the sides the fan was on pretty much and moved a few plants...

hmm, I will have to put that on my list of seeds to grab when I do some trading this summer/fall for next year lol, never even heard of the Yellow Bouquet, pretty cool and that is very interesting about that being the Douglah, I've always heard of bad reviews for the taste, but it's got a...

    Seeds Please?

Storing a large harvest for future use

gotcha! I canned some salsa this year, and my mom use to do it with everything and I use to help her with the fresh/home made raspberry jam when she use to get my brother and I out picking raspberrys for a few weeks lol.... so for just canning whole/sliced peppers, ( I would at least make an...

    Smallest ornamental pepper plant?

yeah it's in my grow tent, they do well in low light areas, and they seem to really reach for the light more than others because the ones that are closer to the light have one stem or so, that is much longer than the others lol, pretty funny, and all I do is just spin them around and the other...

    Smallest ornamental pepper plant?

Here is a close up of a Pretty Purple Pepper that I got from Tomato grower supply company, they are suppose to get about 2' tall, and this one is larger than the other ones, around... 10" wide and maybe that tall.. but the other/younger ones that have flowers on them are only a little bigger...

    Seeds Please?

yeah I would say get a small group of seeds that you want from the vendors and start there, and like everyone said, contribute to the forums and you should be able to get quite a collection going, and right now I think a lot of people have either given a good number of seeds away or used them...
