    Flowers falling off

I agree they look ok. Could do with a bigger pot though. Almost looks like a dwarf variety, though id think that's due to pot size. Just wait it out and you shall have pods :)

    pests Copper as pest deterrent?

I should add that the copper rings did work for stopping the slugs and snails. I had a pretty big issue with them and at the time didnt want to use slug poison due to having dogs. I got mine from a scrap metal buyer guy..they should have lots (of copper tube) for next to nothing.

    pests Copper as pest deterrent?

Nope never noticed any problems. I always figured if there was any run off then it would only be a small amount, and copper is an element that plants make use of anyway.

    pests Copper as pest deterrent?

Yep I have bent copper tubing into circles to create copper rings around the base of plants.  Slugs and snails wont cross it :)

    Identifying deficiency

first pic, imo, it looks like a place where water naturally gathers due to the shape of the leaf, and so its rotted a bit. Would not worry. You can cut the leaf in half and remove that bit if you want but unless thats consistent accross the plant I would not worry. second pic looks like a tear...

    SHOULD I "PINCH" THE FLOWERS

How longs the long run? give both plants 8 + months and I doubt the one you plucked flowers off is going to be substantially bigger or better.

    SHOULD I "PINCH" THE FLOWERS

peppers can both grow and fruit simultaneously provided they have the everything they need..   If the plants not ready then they wont stick. If it is ready, and it has all the nutes it needs then it will continue to both fruit and grow without, IMO, slowing it down all that much. I can post...

health What's wrong with this chili plant?

I didnt read this whole thread..but if you are still having issues I would say its either. Wet feet. Too cooler temp. Or needs some fert. The plant is small but it looks like it may be in coir, in which case it will almost certainly need some sort of fert.

    nzchili and the kiwi summer

There has been lots of rain here recently and its starting to cool down, so things are going to start going backwards very soon.   The hybrid plants may have some flowers now (not sure havent checked them in a week) but they are close to flowering..will snap some pics on the weekend.  more...

    General Advice For Growing Wanted!

Im not sure what the averages are. It will get down to 1 or 2 deg C overnight though, and maybe go up to a max of 10deg C during the day.   Plants wont grow fast but they will still grow slowly, indoors on a windowsill, with no extra heating.

    General Advice For Growing Wanted!

You really dont need any special lights or heating anything, being in Sydney. I guess you would have similar weather to me, maybe even a little warmer.   You can sprout seeds in the winter by placing your pellets or whatever you in a warm place. Hot water cupboard, on top of modem / TV box...

    Severe deformation on Habanero plants

The brownish discoloration, IMO is a tick towards it being mites. Maybe russet mites or  broad mites. A bit of sulphur spray isnt going to hurt anything, mites or no mites. worth a try I reckon

    My first season

Choc bhut, IMO, looks like damping off. (see the brown part of the stem where it goes into the soil) The bottom (green) stick may come back to life. id say the brown one above it is done.

    Help diagnosing my problem?

You could segregate that one plant from the rest and stop giving it fert and continue as you were with the others. If the others go like that its the fert. If that one stays odd its a weird mutation

Should I Top A Forked Plant

Yea I would say those look fine in that image. Could do with bigger pots if you have the space. Also annum types  (cayenne) will in general be more lanky so it does come down the to variety as well. I can only see an argument for topping if space/time is a constraint, as they can take up a bit...

    Help diagnosing my problem?

Now that's interesting. If anything you are giving it too much, not too little. I personally think its a weird mutation. The plant in general looks healthy. The leaves are odd..but seem somewhat consistent.   There is no discoloration or death at the nodes which would be seen with mites which...
