    Windchicken 2013

Went back and read everything. Very nice ... enjoyed your food shots thrown in a lot. Show's how you'd use a certain type of pepper. After reading this your Ja Habanero type sounds good . I enjoy fruity scented peppers. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on the Bahamian Goat pepper. I love and...

    Scotch Bonnets

FayahBen , They are two different strains . The spiky type are called "Select". Most the pods look much the same. But some are expectational looking. Lots of spikes with a long tail. Those are the ones I keep seeds from. I also just keep the earliest , best looking pods for seeds . By that...

Black Nagas - Do They Ripen to Red First?

I don't know about Black Nagas . I've grown what's called Black Thai peppers. Some were green from the start and turned. The ones that gave Black peppers had purple flowers. They were black from the start as I remember . A Thai friend who's a cook told me the black ones would turn red when fully...

    P.Dreadie 2013

Not a lot to show or talk about. Everything is still small but coming along . I have found out I don't care for the tiny cups I used to start seeds in . Have to water move than I expected and when taking the plant out of those to transplant they don't seem to easily give up the plant. As...

Inner Beauty hot sauce was one of my all time favorites. He stopped making it and I got a knock off recipe that was close to it and played around a with a little more. Anyway it's a great sauce

    P.Dreadie 2013

Steve to hopefully explain what seeds you got from me. Yes for the most part the "Yellow Scotch Bonnet " was from CCN. The difference is those seeds were taking from plants that I first got from CCN. I had picked a few best pods from the best plant. Each year ( but not that many ) I would do...

The halo effects on Liz's photos could be that way because they were shot thru a window . Or my guess is it's an effect that happens when you're tightly focused on the subject and the background blurs but a digital camera still trying to get info. Both are just guesses .... I'm not great with a...

    food P.Dreadie's Yardie Chicken

THT , Kind of a basic Tabasco style of sauce ... vinegary and a bit hotter . Use is the same .. splash on greens or few drops in your bowel of stew. A nice table sauce. Grace's from Jamaica was much the same but using the Scotch Bonnet. It's the BOMB to me... can't seem to find any right...
