    7 Pot Type?

Strong Chinense taste. I ate a quarter of a smaller one and it lit me up.  Not as much as a moruga or brain strain, but hotter than the habanero/scotch bonnet level.  I would be really excited if it was an Antillais but the flavor and shape do not quite match up.  The last Antillais I had...

    7 Pot Type?

I am guessing this is a 7 Pot based on the pod shape.  Any ideas of a specific type?  I have not seen the pod grow with this type of color before.  I got these seeds from Pepperproblem but I had the plant mislabeled when transplanted.     Here is the immature pod on the plant.  I thought these...

    tutorial Fermenting Peppers 101

about to start my first ferment experiment.  Wild Brazils, Onion, Garlic, and harvested Whey.  I am going to use the loose lid method.  I seem to remember reading that after fermentation starts the lid is suppose to tightened?  Is that correct?  Or does the lid stay loose through the ferment...

yield-harvest A PepperProblem Grow and Harvest

sorry I had to segment the posts because of the picture limit I have.           Thanks Nigel!  Part of our discussion was the climate we are growing in and when to start.  So many of these plants did not get to pots until May or early June.  I knew they would come in later in the season but...

yield-harvest A PepperProblem Grow and Harvest

Rainforest Pepper.  He was so excited about growing this one.  The one in the bag is a Antilles Red or 7 Pot, not quite sure.  Plant did not grow well and bugs and ants got to it big time despite the Diatamaceous earth all around it.        Here is first major harvest from a few weeks...

yield-harvest A PepperProblem Grow and Harvest

Howdy folks.  Many of you knew and interacted with PepperProblem while he was with us.  Toward the end of last season and the beginning of this one he unloaded a lot of seeds on me without even asking.  He also helped me start my grow this year from seed, something I had not succeeded at before...
