I saw them in Nottingham in the late 90's (Real eyes realise real lies was just released) and then again a couple of months ago again in Nottingham :)

Or if humidity is high enough around the base of the plant I often see it with Fytocell which is ~ 40% air at all times I only ever see it when I run drippers 24/7
No you misunderstood what I said Lumens is useful to measure the difference in intesity between the SAME types of light they are useful to compare 250w HPS to 600w HPS but they are not useful to comparing LED's to HPS or sulphur plasma.
There is no measure for grow lighting that is accurate...
I have nothing but good things to say about UK chilli seeds so much so I decided not to sell seeds from my own crops only clones :)
I purchase my seeds from there.
Lumens is a very accurate way of comparing same types of lights but different wattages together but they're unsuitable to compare different types of light together.
HPS are measured in lumens and I know I can take more from HPS watt for watt than any other kind of lighting on the market today.
I've played with sulphur plasma's lighting it's overhyped and overpriced LED's will be the future of grow lighting but NOT YET and HPS/MH are the best lights available now at any price and they happen to be one of the cheapest.
If you can source and use a 3 phase 415v ballast it will kick the...
We have a similar game in the UK everytime David Cameron annouces the economy has recovered we have to drink a small bottle of 3% beer the countries been rat arsed since 2010
600w is where it's at it in the UK and also for efficiency.
600w are 6.7% more efficient than a 1kw and 16.7% more efficient than a 400w. 250w is even worse at 26.7% and it goes down quickly under 250w anything under 150w hps/mh will be less efficent than fluros watt for watt.
Commerical...
