I started a hot pepper ferm in 2 pint jars as that's all I had but had to fill them almost all the way to the top .
I did it 2 days ago is it ok to combo them in to a larger jar now.
so going to try a couple ferments and have a couple ?
1. how do most weigh the pods whole or after chopping into mash
2. how many pods do most use per jar say per 1/2 pint ,quart,1/2 gallon etc batch
3. how much air /head space is to much or to little
4. do air lock keep jar from breaking or...

trying to get every thing I need to start my first try at pepper fermenting and trying to figure out what starter I need to buy.there isa bunch on amazon but not sure which kind to get
