dehydrators Amazon deal of the day - Excalibur 3926TB 9-Tray Electric Food Dehydrator

Enjoy macing your entire house.  With a bathroom door closed and a vent running 24/7 and pointing directly outside, you can smell the airborne oils about 4 or 5 feet outside the door.   If I could live in my house and use this, it would have seemed like a great bargain.  I got mine years ago for...

    in-ground What's in the ground? 2019 Edition!

Greetings all.  This is my first season with all of you, so starting what I hope is an annual thread.     This year, I started my seeds in small plastic cups from Lowe's that came as a single unit (7 pod grow kit?).  I also acquired heat mats and grow lights from Amazon, and some basic grow...

Bonnie plant thread! post your plants and success/failures

Thought I would throw in here. I have about 25 plants in the ground, all but one grown by me from seed. I have one Bonnie: a Cowhorn. All the leaves have fallen off save 3 or 4 and it looks like the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree.

    Black Panther

Just moved my panther to a gallon pot today. Overcast skies in NC meant they could stay outside for a few hours this AM. Hope to plant them in about a week or so.

spirits One Claw (Rye IPA) WestBrook Brewing Co. Craft Beer Review!!

Rye IPA is either outstanding (example: Rye of the Tiger from Great Lakes) or it serves to make a good IPA mediocre (all the Sierra Nevada Ryes I've tried).  If I drink rye, to include rye whiskey, I want spice (imagine that) and richness to complement hops.

It's hairy but it's not pubescens

Of course, I had to go check.  Mine is now growing hair on the trunk.  This matches my Black Cobra.

It's hairy but it's not pubescens

If you guys are talking Black Cobras, mine is quite healthy and has nary a hair on the entire plant.  I was led to believe the Black Cobra is the same thing as a Goat's weed.  Unless I'm the one with the bad seeds.   :shh:

    Central NC Here...Love growing peppers

Good Morning.  I live in Central NC and I love, love, love growing peppers.  It is an obsession with me that started about 5 years ago, and I am sitting on the largest crop of seed-grown plants that I have ever planted.  A quick list of plants in the ground:   Sweet - Giant Marconi, Chinese...
