    I'm growing them in white polystyrene cups and they are all in a white polysterene fruit box. Initially I had the box sealed with gladwrap but I took that off a couple of days ago. Should I put the gladwrap back on to keep the heat in? Peter.

    Hooray, my first ever chilli seeds have sprouted. I have three that have come up so far, Quintisho, Black Hungarian and Chicken Heart. Not bad considering it's still the middle of winter here. Still got 17 other varieties to go.:P

    Hi MM, Actually I'm about 20kms east of Bendigo, which puts me closer to Melbourne and I assume you're about 15kms north of Melb. so I'd estimate that I'm more like 115kms from you. Bendigo is 150kms from Melbourne (up the Calder). Yes, we do get a few frosts, maybe two or three bad ones...
