A bit over a week later and stuff is coming along just right.
A few odd leaves here and there, but I know better than to panic. Epsom salt yesterday morning. These guys generally grow out of their awkward initial leaves.
Bonus shot, one of our two dogs smelling the air in front of a...
So here we go. A long time ago, I posted a grow log here. I was rocking a fire escape garden in the middle of Bushwick and it worked. I started in May and actually got a good crop all the way through to late October. Not as good as the one I got the following year when I started seeds in...
I'm not even home until Sunday, but all my plants are out in their pots in the deck. Here's to hoping they are still alive when I get back.
I haven't watered them in almost two weeks given the constant drenching and their current size (small).
We'll see how this turns out, but aside from the...
if you're having issues with getting a seedling out of a plug, it generally means you're doing it too early.

jamaican hot chocolates are supposed to be a specific strain acquired by a seed saver at a jamaican...
awesome pics, sir!
also, i wanted to say rather quickly that the naga morich strain you gave me seeds for last year is quite possibly my best-growning pepper this year. good stuff, cappy. good stuff.
i clocked my habaneros at a month from setting last year, but i do think it has a lot more to do with the end of the season, at least for us in the north.
