You are correct.I smoked a turkey on the top rack in the UDS last November. It came out perfect. Fortunately it does have a dome lid from my old Weber grill.

Not sure which thread everyone is using.  The UDS is done and it can easily handle 10 chicken halves at once, probably more if needed. The time on my first smoke was three hours on 4 big chicken halves. Holy crap, these things are fun and easy!

The UDS is done and the first smoke was a ridiculous SUCCESS! It can handle at least 10 chicken halves at once (probably more if needed). I'm going to start a second one within a few days. 

I sure would like to see Lazienfat, Duval Dave, and Maligator come this year. They were at the original Fest. I may have left someone out...have to go back and look at the pictures. I know Maligator is in Michigan now so that won't happen. 

Once again, this will be one brutal pure evil challenge. I'm still interested in smoking some chickens and/or ribs if you would like Ann. Looking forward to another awesome time at the Park!
