Im almost out, need some advice

I must echo Kneppers Peppers (Justaguy)! All of their sauces have wonderful flavor, and range from mild to pretty hot. I also absolutely love the El Yucateco XXX Mayan Style sauce too.

hot-sauce Went out to purchase Defcon sauce, came back with Daves Ghost Pepper.....

I love that El Yucateco Exxxtra (Mayan recipe). Great taste & it's only $2.39 at my local Latino grocery store. hard to beat delicious & cheap. Also, World Market around here usually has Melinda's Ghost Pepper for about $4 or $5. It's non-extract, about as hot as Justaguy's Tongue Wrapper, but...

hot-sauce Hot Sauce with heat AND a great taste?

Kenpper's Peppers, Justaguy, gets a big recommendation from me. I just received my second order from him. And a friend at work placed a order a little while ago. So I've now tried all of his sauces (I think), and each is very unique. Knepper's sauces are unlike any other sauces out there. They...

review Official Review: Knepper's Peppers HABermelon

I was surprised at how much I liked HABermelon. It's such a strange sounding sauce, to have watermelon in it. However, every single one of Knepper's sauces I've tried have been delicious. They're just so unlike anything else out there, a great fresh tasting flavor, and the fruit & peppers...

hot-sauce Went out to purchase Defcon sauce, came back with Daves Ghost Pepper.....

I definitely used to think that way. Now I'd say: All extract sauces are nasty! Except for Defcon which is frackin' delicious!

    Got some new stuff today

Oh yes great sauces all around by Justaguy! Fatal Lime & Piney Hab Extreme are my favorites. Fatal Lime is great on anything where you'd like a lime flavor, like fish, chicken, or mexican dishes. Piney Hab Extreme pairs very well with chicken, especially great as a dipping sauce for fried...

    Fiery Foods Challenge

That's very true. Just like boneless wings aren't an option in most places challenges for the same reason, very easy to eat clean. Which is also one of the reasons I prefer to order boneless/tenders over regular wings. To offset that, I guess you could consider something like stuffing the...

hot-sauce Tastiest Hot Sauce on the Planet...Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce

I also like the rooster (Huy Fong's) Garlic Chili Sauce as well, especially on Asian take-out to kick it up some more.

    Not a Chili...but.....

True, and I didn't think you could build a tolerance to horseradish like you can to capsaicin.

    Thai Brainstorming

moved original comment here: I love Thai! My only problem is that "Thai hot" at the local restaurants isn't that hot anymore. And none of them will believe me when I try to ask for "double Thai hot". Then I'll add something like Melinda's Naga to leftovers to bring up the heat, but it changes...

review naganumbness reviews "tongue wrapper" hot sauce

Great review, you nailed the description perfectly. I tried Tongue Wrapper for the first time tonight. I had it on some chicken. I poured it over a bite & then went for it. Just like you describe, you get a quick flash of blueberry, and then carrot. My wife, who only eats extra mild asked, "Is...

    review Fatal Lime review

I tried this today for the first time, on some chicken. It was wonderful, the lime flavor really shines & the fatali peppers provide a nice medium kick. I was thinking as I ate it, that it would be great on fish with some fresh dill or cilantro. So I'll have to do that next time. Another...

    review Piney Hab review

Just tried his Piney Hab Extreme today on chicken. Incredibly delicious, a perfect blend of sweet & hot. I'd rank it as one of the hotter non-extract sauces I've tried & it leaves a nice lingering burn. It's hot enough that your non-chilihead friends will stay away from it, but not too hot so...

    hot-sauce Best Non-Extract Sauces

My package from Justaguy came yesterday. So today I got a 12 piece nuggets from Chic-fil-a for lunch (no fries). I used the Habitually Orange on 6 & Piney Hab Extreme on the other 6. Habitually orange is really sweet & the orange compliments the citrus taste of the habs just perfectly...

    hot-sauce Best Non-Extract Sauces

I ordered a bunch of stuff from Justaguy, so waiting for them to arrive. I also found Melinda's Naga Jolokia sauce at a local place, and that's been great, quite a bit hotter than the Red Savina sauce of theirs.

how many before you should say your fav. hot sauce.

I figure my favorite is my favorite now, until I find a better one. So it doesn't matter how many. My current favorite is still El Yucateco XXXHot Mayan Recipe. I've liked a bunch after trying that one, but it's still the best.

    this is terrible...

I like getting good quality super thin cut chicken breasts (organic if possible) and grilling them on my outdoor grill. Then cutting them into bite-sized pieces & tossing with a good wing sauce. The thin breasts really make a big difference in taste to me, lots more surface area for the sauce &...

    Vinegar Sauces

Ah, ok. I didn't realize acetic acid was vinegar. I don't think it tastes "vinegary" at all. Luckily for me, a couple of the local Latino Grocery stores carry El Yucateco & they're under $2 per bottle. I can find the 4x Melinda's at Kroger grocery stores & Whole Foods carries Melinda's Red...
