I like the idea of putting the heater in the filter barrel. That way I won't have to worry about temperature spikes from the water level raising and lowering.

man you aren't kidding, I've dug in sand before I hate it too!I'm looking forward to your post about the heater. I think I'm going to heat the water in the sump tank during the cold months and let it pump warmish water to the fish instead of putting the heater in with the fish. Thoughts?

I don't see why not, but you will battle problems with roots clogging the system.

Decided to change the layout a little bit, Going to go to one sump tank as suggested by FLBorn, going to move the sump tank to the back with the fish tank and filter.   Ill have to dig a little deeper for the sump but ill only have to dig once

Well thanks for the kind words every one. Whilst I have yalls attention, where do you guys stand on the insect screen on the sides of the greenhouse? I was going to have mine permanently attached to the 4 foot walls under the roll up sides. But, as I thought about it, how would I get pollinators...

Based on some of the advice from others I have added bracing, maybe one day soon the wind will stop blowing and I will be able to get the cover on it and start setting up the tanks. :neutral:   Cheers till next time

6 mil sheeting will be on the roof, I thought about replacing it with the panels later. I am using 1/2"-3/4" river rock for media in the grow beds. This is the first structure I've ever built so I'm kinda learning about the bracing as I go.
