How to use immature Bhut Jolokia's (still green)

I pulled a green one off a plant last yeat and tried it. No heat at all. I was worried that I had gotten some weird seeds that would have no true ghosts. Once they ripened, they got their heat. Boy, did they get their heat. I would be interested if your green ghosts have any heat. Let us know...

I'm not selling them. But I will give you some. I also have what I beleive is a Bombay Morich plant that is producing some peppers. Unfortunatly, I also have been struggeling with a fungus that has afected some, but not all, of my peppers.

    Any idea what this is?

I looked up the Bombay Morich, and it sure looks just like it. I'm sorry I havn't been able to post a better photo. Got busy at work, and not I'm in Texas on vacation. I'll see if I can do a better job when I get home, but I am thinking I got myself a Bombay Morich.

    Any idea what this is?

This is one plant I did not start from seed, and the tag was printed on one of those lable makers. The UVs from the sun must have totally faded the name of the darn thing. It's contorted like my Bhuts, but has a very smooth and glossy skin. I gave one to my son who is a chef and he is going to...

    food Stuffed Poblano

Looks mighty tasty HillBilly. I could go for a few of them right now. Now I have to add poblamos to my grow list. I may have to cut back on those other veggies in my garden to make more room for peppers.

seeds Ebay seeds "Bhut Jolokia" Grow, start to finish.

Unleashed, this year I too decided to try the Bhuts for the first time. I bought my seeds from a supplier in Florida and started them the last week of March in my Aero Garden seed starting accessory of all things. The fastest any seeds germinated was a couple of weeks, and some of them took...

    pests The dreaded Squash Bug

You guys in Texas must have some pretty tough Bugs. I have been having the same type issue with the Chinese beetles. They seem to really like my Fortex beans and have most of the leaves looking like lace. Randy

    pests The dreaded Squash Bug

I have been having good results with dusting the plants with diatomaceous earth. When the little buggers start eating a plant leaf, they ingest the fine powder and it shreds them up inside and they die. You can harvest right after dusting if you want. Just rinse it off. It's been working well...

    Hey from Madison, WI

I will definitely do that rooze. Just the thought of 9 pepper chile is making me hungry. I have several Bhuts that are 3 1/2" long and looking very mean, and one plant (I have 8 total) has over 20 Bhuts set with more blooms each day. I can't wait until they start to ripen. I may be flopping on...

    Hey from Madison, WI

I may not have chosen the best name for this forum. This is the first season I have grown Bhut Jolokia peppers and I can't wait (or maybe I can) to try them. When I bought the seeds, I got one dried Bhut and had to try a bit of it straight. Holy cow!!!!!!! My son is a chef at a restaurant and...
