Well, I haven't updated in a while. It's been hot here. So I just conceded that I wasn't going to get peppers and set to grow the plants until the temp dropped enough for the fruit to set. Here's the latest.

Yeah. Local Weather Station said high today of 106. Me thinks this weather station probe is a little wonky. However, when I went out there today to check on things...I could believe 115. Still have my feet in ice water from stepping on that concrete. 

Roughly 1 month from potting. backyard electronic thermometer read a high of 115 today.    Flowers on all except the Trinidad Scorpion Butch T.

Texas worked on some highway beautification projects around here several years ago and I'm still kicking myself for not picking up some of the 20 gal pots they had lying around from all the trees they planted. 

The naga7 has some fruit! I see about 7 pods now and tone more flowers.  

already done. Holes on the bottom of these pots vs. the sides doesn't seem to matter since the concrete isn't very smooth or flat. I might put some small holes on the sides, though, in case the bottom start filling up with debris. Thanks for the suggestion!
