All of you guys and gal deserve a huge round of applause! Watching this was better than tuning into Sunday morning Kung Fu theater! Or damn close to it. The creativeness and display of indefatigable energy was damn near orgasmic. I have no doubt that a few of the poppers were. All of you should stand a little taller now and have an aloof look in your eyes for you are all truly............ POPPER OVERLORDS.

whee..there still is marinatin curry chicken so tender it'd defile yer momma and you'd never know. Teehee... I pokwed it wit a spoon, and it separated.

IMO, I dont usually make poppers..btu for tis i did. ;)

Did manage to get nail my hands with a combo of overly hot water and habs...ow...feels like burning...

what can I say but WOW :cool: all of ya did a great job on the poppers!!! now I have a serious craving for some poppers :lol:
theres several new ideas I never thought of doing before but they look & sound tasty.
 
thanks for the vote of confidence TB...however, I must bow to the other Kung Fus....their poppers looked absolutely mouth watering...

I, however, am going to smoke some this morning...here is a pic of the ingredients...

pic of ingredients mixed...stuffing is mozzarella, sharp cheddar, pimiento (with jalapeno) cheeses, a little onion, 2 earl campbell hot links nuked then diced, one habanero, two serrano, and 2 orange thai...all with some voodoo ash....

I was just at the store and while checking out the produce meat and cheese sections it dawned on me that I was still subconsciously looking for ingredients for the next super popper. Lamb shanks, smoked gouda, mint... my mind is going popper crazy. Must stop the popper voices in my head!

Oh and TB you are being too humble. You are and always will be the Original Popper Overlord and the inspiration for me and everyone else here to think outside the box with the poppers.

Verrry Hot Curried Chicken...so tender I literally cut it up with a butter knife. Marinated overnight.

Curry has about a Tbls or two of cayenne/arbol powders, about a tsp of red pepper powder, garlic/onion powder, a lot of yellow curry paste, a couple Habs, a couple red jalapenos, a bunch of sambal olek, cilantro, some key lime juice and a shot of balsamic vinegar. :-D

I had help with the aid of a nice beer w/ key lime slices..

Excellent AJ and Quad. Mrs. Blues is out shopping and she's going to pic me up a new battery charger for the camera. I've got some skirt steak I just marinaded for tomorrow's fajita's.
I'll definitely need the cam for that.

BTW, that glass is from a bar in FL that a buddy goes to. When TippyCelt visited him, then me, it was brought with him an I got it.

Beer w/ key limes in a glass from FL...good stuff. :)
 
You guys infest me with this popper porn thread. I have to make some myself next weekend. They sell Fresh Jalapeno's at Friday's market here in town.

Wow, the popper train just won't stop! I'm all popperd out for a few days. I've still got at least a couple of days worth of poppers alllll to my self :hell:

However, was at goodwill today and picked up a melon baller for a quarter, so this should streamline the popper assembly line nicely. Also got some huge-ass habs from walmart. I'm thinkin I may have to reproduce Quadz smoked salmon/caper poppers. Or maybe TB's fried smoked salmon and cream cheese goodies? It's all too much.

Soooo many poppers! Thanks everybody for your beautiful gut bombs of glory. This we must do again!
 
hickory smoked for 2 hours...and I must say...these are the best ones I have made this weekend...

What popper recipe would work best as a first try. Sorry for being lazy but I need a good recipe first hand, quick..:)

Cut 'peno's in half length wise. Deseed and stuff with sharp cheddar. Put in freezer 1 hour. Remove from freezer and wrap tightly with bacon. Place in castiron and into oven at 425f.
Remove from oven when done. Eat.
