Please, don't be scared.  Let us know how she tastes.  Beautiful looking pod there.

Forgot add that it has a neat looking 'tail' to it.

Jay's peach ghost/scorpion?
it looks alot like it dosnt it

however the peach bhut can look like that too

sometimes it hard to tell the differance until you eat one, the G.S. is much hotter and i dont think it is quite as floral as the peach bhut, i tend to think the peach bhut actually taste better than the G.S. imho

Awesome looking pod! I hope my peach Bhut (or my peach G.S.) look that amazingly. I love the color. Great job!

Peach and G.S peach are among the best looking pods i see here on THP. I want to grow one of them next year and at the moment i'm leaning towards G.S. peach (sadly not both). I suppose peach bhut is less bitter than a Jay's peach, right?

Great looking pod btw!

im going to see how my job treats me over the winter when it comes to time, im going to be doing a few givaways and the peach bhut will be on the list again thanks to your desire

the peach bhut is not as hot as the GS and i dont think the peach is bitter at all, the G.S. sometimes can be a little bitter, the only differance ive seen is heat, flavor is almost the same between the two,now remember im not a good authority on them im not that fond of bhuts and scorps they hurt too much for the litttle bit of flavor they offer
gotta say though that the peach bhut has the best flavor or all the bhut color variation> ;)imho ;)

I agree from what I've tasted so far (more limited), but the pain outweighs the reward. So far I seem to prefer the baccatum varieties to the super hor chinenses.

That's A fantastic looking Pod Gfinnil
I can see why you might be scared of this one.

Hey Mate hope all is well.
Nice little comparison between the two :P  . I have had the Ghost/Scorp but haven't managed to get a Peach Bhut to ripen stage.
I was amazed with the fruitiness and also the heat level in the Ghost/Scorp. The heat level is right through the roof which normally doesn't happen on the lighter colours like Yellow etc.

I just tasted this THING...omg the initial flavor was really good, but I was soon overwhelmed with pain (this was a matchstick sized sliver). Methinks I've found the very top of my tolerance...and no sir, I didn't like it...lol :)

This year I have a few baccatums going and would like to try others...any must grows? I have Aji Limon, Aji Crystal, Rainforest, Bishop's Crown and Brazilian Starfish just starting to produce...mmm
Jerry

There should be very little heat in the tip of that bc there is no placenta -- it will give you a great opportunity to really taste the pepper if you eat that bit separately. Like the stinger on the reaper.

Hey ajijoe,

I am growing the Brazilian Pumpkin this year and its just now finally putting out ripe pods, they are amazing, really sweet followed by a nice kick. The plant has grown over 120cm, actually its more like a tree, and I topped it just over 2 months ago(experimenting). :)

Just wondering if its the same as the Brazilian Starfish?

P.S. I am going to keep an eye out later if your offering up Peach Bhut seeds. They will DEFINATELY be on my list next year, one way or another Lol
Absolutely beautiful looking pod btw Jerry. Dripping in oil when you cracked that baby open I can imagine Lol
