Wow, thats a great looking harvest. How many plants do you have to get that kind of harvest  ?

I have over 180 hot pepper plants, which consists of 44 (18 gal) containers with 3 plants in each container ranging from 2ft to 7ft, I know it sounds like I'm crowding it but in reality every plant supports each other, with one common stake in each pot, also have 20 (9 gal) nursery pots with plants that have isolated pods, and a couple of 4ft x 12ft cedar raised beds with numerous pepper plants. So far I've had some pretty seroius harvests for a backyard garden...and I plan to add more containers next year... thanks for the inquiry

The weather is starting to change a bit, so I thought I'd do a little harvest today to encourage the remaining pods to ripen...

There's alot of 'green pods' hanging around on the plants, I hope to get a few more harvests before "Teardown" happens!

Wow!!!!!

That shot of your "evil pepper patch" is amazing! How do you even get in there to water or harvest anything?

I love the pictures of all the harvested peppers mixed together. It makes my pictures of 8 or 10 peppers at a time look pretty pathetic though ...

Thanks for sharing!

Watering is done from overhead from a hand sprayer, during the heat in the summer I used a timer with an oscillating sprinker twice a day,
Harvesting usually creates havoc, I hate to hear the sound of snapping branches or pods falling on the ground, but I plant extra for those reasons .....thanks for the reply...

The harvesting usually takes place early Saturday mornings before the football, if I'm in town....
and hey sometimes my harvest only consists of a few "devil serranos" for a "pico de gallo"......yum
